Holzner is the bassist of the heavy metal band Earthen Grave. He also played bass in the Chicago underground, doom metal pioneer band Trouble from 1985 to 2002. ==Career== Holzner started playing the bass guitar in 1978. His 5 major bass player influences are Geezer Butler, John Paul Jones, John Entwhistle, Mel Schacher and John Wetton. In 1984, he landed a job as a guitar/bass tech for the Chicago band Trouble and held that job until he got the job as a bass player two weeks before the recording of the Trouble release Run to the Light.
